We're Back

January 11, 2011

After a very busy holiday season and a hectic January, we're going to be back in the proverbial saddle, social media- and blog-wise, here at Electric Advisors.

We're in the process of beefing up our social-media presence on Facebook. Please use the links to follow us at either of those places (or both). We promise not to be all over-promotional ... we'll provide timely news and information on many utility and cost cutting-related issues that can directly help the bottom line of your business or home.

Additionally, we're going to be starting an email newsletter for our current commercial and residential customers. The email will be full of news and information on how you can cut your energy bills even further, and even go green with your energy usage.

If you're not a customer but you want to receive the newsletter, we'll provide a sign-up form here at the site. Hopefully our newsletter will then convince you to become a client of EA.

You're going to be seeing us and our distinctive logo throughout the mid-Atlantic as well, as we start up more initiatives that will lower and/or fix the energy supply rates for commercial and residential utility-bill payers alike.

We've got several other things going on,too, and we'll be rolling out all of that over the next several months. While we can't say what's going on right now, we can tell you that everything we're planning will benefit you, the residential or commercial energy user.

We hate using clichés here, but it's true this time: Stay tuned!

The PJM Interconnection serves the Mid-Atlantic, as well as parts of the Midwest and Southern U.S.

As businesses start the budgeting process for 2025, electricity supply costs across the PJM Interconnection region are rising, driven largely by an increase in capacity charges. Capacity charges, which ensure enough power is available during peak demand, have seen a sharp uptick, leading to higher rates, especially in the DC and Maryland areas. Both residential and commercial customers are facing these increases, with supply prices potentially rising by as much as 20%, significantly impacting operational costs. However, there is still time to mitigate the coming increase in supply rates. From simple energy efficiency upgrades, such as LED lighting or smart thermostats, to longer-term projects like solar panel installations and power walls, businesses have a range of options to reduce their energy consumption and control costs. These strategies can offer significant savings over time and position companies for more sustainable energy use. We encourage you to talk with business owners and decision-makers in your network about these rising costs. This is a great time to introduce them to Electric Advisors, where we can help them navigate these changes and find ways to reduce their energy expenses. Your referrals can play a crucial role in helping those in your network become more competitive. Best,
